Pot holes are good for the climate
A breakneck claim. It's on the table and I will try to prove it.
It's a balancing act from the pothole to the climate, but read it to the end, my dear reader, and you will wish for a pothole on your toilet (I have one there)

We are in Quelimane. This town with 150 000 Quelimanis is the capital of the Zambezia Province. In earlier times the Zambezi entered here the Indian ocean, nowadays, many floodings later, the delta lays ca. 150 km further in the south. Who likes to sleep in an oven, will love Quelimane.
Back to the potholes. They were invented in Quelimane and since then carefully conserved. Now they are filled with water. Rain season. I was told that they are not inhabited by crocodiles. Still I take a long way around them.
Back to the climate. In Quelimane they don't have a motorized public transport system. Too many potholes, no cars, no exhaust fumes, good for the climate. The world needs to be simple, so we can understand it. I should apply as columnist for the biggest Austrian Newspaper. Who claims stuff like this, has good chances to get a job there.
But still everybody uses public transport. Bicycle taxis! With a persistence and resistance to the heat, which Bernhard Kohl could win the Tour de France undoped with, they transport the passengers from A to B. Or, like me, take you for a city tour.
I only used this transport medium. I asked 5 taxi drivers and 1 "flat tire expert" to give me an interview. They will tell us a lot. Also a little bit why potholes are good for the climate.
